I found in the fabric section of the goodwill, w old handwritten tags stapled to them that said sample sale New York,New York 'Silk" one dark teal & raw, one light teal and super soft...these two pieces of fabric..top & bottom

Now, repurposed into a thick warm blanket
I washed both cuts of fabric
Hung to dry for a day
Pressed
Then sewed them into blanket today
Washed again, and dried
Silk was a little squirrelly to sew!!
Luckily it shrank in dryer, or would have
Been even more puckery..
It's reaally warm..as I'd hoped.
