Late Dahlias. I kind of skipped gardening of any serious sort this year. Come late summer _ I found a pile of dahlia tubers in the shed/ felt guilty for not even planting them.
So they got unceremoniously chucked in the ground at the very end of JULY. Besides a big dump of borage tea, they got ZERO attention from me.. And now, it the cool mist of fall, they are popping!
