Bathroom remodel progress

The bathroom wall had to be extended out into the family room about 3 feet to make room for the tub..here's the new wall, white vs grey, good news is, that makes it flush with the existing wall (used to be kind of a nook..) so cleaner lines in the family room and unusable space used!
Here's the tub all plumbed in, with new handles spigot and shower head.. gray slate tiles will surround..& go uo the walls, they're 12x24"
there's a few pieces on the surround there..
This is the opposing wall, there will be a long counter here, a repurposed copper bowl will be the vessel sink (maybe) and a new mirror and light.
Close view of spigot..and tile sample
That black hole is the new paint swatch ..called cyberspace.. it will be near as dark as the slate tiles..

Here's the new mirror, it's bigger than it looks on the box pictureπŸ˜† well big as the box..
And here's a bad screenshot of the new light.. very disco ball looking in real life.
As usual we're doing a cost conscious remodel, using as much repurposed stuff as possible..the ceiling will be lined in narrow cedar.. with a false beam..

And this is a little cubby hidden at the head of the tub surround, being lined in incense cedar, will have shelves for towel and bath stuff.

Chris is doing all the work.
What's unseen here, is the shoring up under the house done to accommodate the cast iron tub (+ water) where once a flimsy fiberglass shower stall used to be.
