Elijah''s a little nervous about Rose, so we keep the deck gate closed and they take turns being in the yard

I had this weird time slip today, back to when we bought this house, and discovered the rolling deck gate. I thought it was sort of weird, & that we'd never use it.

This was before we had a dog, before Elijah too.

Now, we use this gate all the time, it''s one of my favorite things about the house. We can keep rose on the deck when lawn mowing or keep her off the deck when somebody''s a little nervous about her.. it's awesome.
