planted new stuff in the pee wee garden this weekend

some of it is "already bloomed or spent" perennials

Ode got into the planting spirirt

and planted a (ahem shade) Ajuga smack in the middle of the vegetable garden!

he even banged the pot and loosened the roots on his own! without instruction

im so jazzed he's INTO gardening!!

If i could just teach him how to dig without showering me in dirt!

he wants to be close to where i am

but man, im needing goggles for gardening these days

i didnt even realize what he was doing until i saw him hitting the pot on the side to shake it loose

i didnt have the heart to tell him it was the wrong spot

whats wrong anyways?

would i rather have the plant in the "right" spot?

or have my kid feel like a master gardener
