Before the deluge

Fall garden mums on the stoop to be planted.. shortly before it rained cats and dogs.
I'm not complaining..the rain is Fabulous!!!!
I can almost hear all the plants and trees in the yard sighing with relief tonite, under a giant, just-past-full-moon.
The air smells heavenly, feels cooler and cleaner
and finally enough rain, to give all things green a good deep soak.
It rained so hard, the patio roof was roaring with rain
And the drops were bouncing, bouncing! Off the driveway!
Whoopee!
