sore fingers, ovaltine, rain, and getting towed home from a grocery run

we've entered that quiet

reflective
time of year
rain
slippers
coffee
looking out at the leaves that need to be raked
but waiting for them to dry
which
may never happen it seems
the old truck broke down on saturday
we had to be towed home
spent a lot of time curled up on the couch
feeling guilty
for not getting more accomplished
did a lot of laundry
stayed up too late on daylight savings night
so i kinda lost the 'savings'
hehe
ode flooded the bathroom
trying to swim laps during bathtime last night
1/2 the bathtub water ended up on the dloor
daydreamed about house improvements
and spring
i know its prematureue
but i cant wait to get at gardening
w a full season in front of me

talked to my dad on the phone last night doe hours
got all caught up
chris messed w the truck
ode said his finger hurt..and he needed some ovaltine to make it b
better
